MIYAVI Long interview looking back on his 3-month world tour. MIYAVI reveals his thoughts, style, Philosophy and the stories behind the scenes. Share all your ideas about all he could think
In Part 2 of 3, we bring you an episode of South American circuit to circuit in Europe, the highlight of the entire route of the tour during this time estimate.
"I really felt how much each room &, Places held from 2 to 3000 people and the acoustics were great and, above all, the fever of enthusiasm that brought the audience was just great.
I: So the public response exceeded the disadvantages
M: Yes, definitely
"I stayed away from my manager ill during my temporary stay in Japan"
I: So after the South American tour, you were temporarily in Japan. What did you do in your spare time? For example, your physical condition. It is not easy to keep a mental focus for 3 months. How did you do?
M: No, not easy. But just kept going to the gym to exercise, and stay away from my manager ill.
I: He seemed wrong.
M: He always has a cold. And despite constantly being sick, always tells the band members should be careful about their conditions on their responsibilities as professional artists.
I: During your temporary stay in Japan, I ran to your manager in another place and said: "I have a fever with many degrees and I am so sick ..." looking all dizzy.
M: Everyone goes like "Your manager seems always so sick." As & iacuteand, that I was seeing. I tried to hold the line on exercises because I can not go to the gym during the tours. My state used to decrease during the tours. Could get sick unless I keep focused and very concentrated and if I lose this, everything can go physically.
I: is that the more tense you are, "More difficult will be next? M: Yes, that's why I do really hard workouts. I was in the gym all the time, before the tour and in between too. I think that was larger during the tour in Europe than in America and even greater whenor returned to Japan at the end. It is also difficult to maintain my weight as easily reduced.
I: Did you have some Japanese food with you? CHTM
LXC M: No, no.
I: What about miso soup and other Japanese food?
M: No, I did not. I do not like that kind of thing as "I can not live without Japanese food" was not necessary.
I: So what to cook for you? Or ate out?
M: Of course we ate outside. The food was good if you went to "good places". It's just that when we had to eat at places such as service areas where we walked around Europe, was the hardest part
"Everyone was very passionate"
I: What about people I recognized the area as Miyavis Service?
M: No. That place is unusual, so it's okay. But there were fans who followed us all the way to the car service areas (laughs).
I: Were you pursued by car?
M: If
I: In Paris, some of your fans asked me if I knew where Miyavi would then answer "sorry I do not know well." (Laughs)
M: Paris was crazy! We went to a restaurant near the Opera Garnier. I forgot the name of the restaurant, but it was a good restaurant and formal. As soon as I had fans around the restaurant. I was like "Woah ...". (Laughs) and enter the restaurante. But even inside the restaurant, had fans and their families as well (laughs) One parent told me her daughter had brought all the way from Switzerland to see my show!
I: Did you talk to them?
M: Yes, somewhat. Me pidieron mi autógrafo. It was not only a family!
M: I know! I was very surprised.
Q: I am sure it was a great matchnce and a memory in the lives of fans.
M: I hope so. And I like traveling to foreign countries, because you're in a totally different environment where you have to be you. It's like you're allowed to forget everything. Even if you do the same things, go out, go clubbing, it's different when you're in a foreign country. It feels a little freer, at least I think so (laughs) So even if people recognize me, I keep going to many places, because I'm traveling! (Laughs)
"Back in Japan, was a little disappointed, honestly ..."
I: Unlike the Japanese fans, foreign fans van straight forward with your passion. I'm sure a lot of energy is the energy consumed to receive you.
M: Yes, but I know what they expect of me, I think. But even then, I was amazed by the foreign fans so I was a little disappointed to return to Japan, honestly ...
I: You wanted them to be more passionate?
M: Well ... is not whether good or bad, I guess is something like this and this is like this The Japanese have their own style to show passion. But no matter how big the crowd, 30000, 50000, 100000, 200000, 400000, I am sure that so able to cover everything.
Q: I think the shows are created by both the presenting and listening together. After seeing these different answers, Do you plan to change your style or do things differently?
M: No, not really. I know my fans are there to see my show, so the final image of what I make is very clear to me. The tactic, of course, differ accordingly, but I want to show my show does not change. That's the difference between the performance of your own show and things like presentations on the street or jumping while playing in a club.
"I felt like it was the first time to fixevents "
I: In your last interview, you said if you expect people to know you should understand you, you first must show effort to understand them. And that's why you tried to communicate in their languages and open a gateway for foreigners to hear your music.
M: When I say that?
I: In the interview late last year
M: Well, well said!
I: Yes you did!
M: If I Did It! (Laughs)
I: Exactly. And then you talked about the synergy of mutual understanding. CHT
MLXC
M: Yes, I think I had much success in achieving this. Like I said before about how the audience responded in Japan, is not that the Japanese fans are enthusiastic and passionate not only use it for this, in comparison with others. Therefore, some parts of overseas fans have not got that sometimes are very popular among Japanese fans, like turning your towels or by headbanging *. There is a unique atmosphere because of the long relationship with the Japanese public. So in that relationship, everything is new for foreigners, you know?eacute; Ndolo too often would wear down and weaken its meaning. But now, you have to convey your thoughts and feelings, otherwise it is not extended. The world tour made me realize that this is something that grows. In that sense, I learned a lot on this tour.
I: It's like the difference between a newly married couple have been together for 10 years.
M: Yes, sort of. I felt it important to establish a relationship in which you can use the words "I love you" after 10 years of relationship. I think this has spread to Japanese fans as well. I do not want that this givesdo it for granted. It is not correct. So if during the concert I see someone who appears to be boring, I acercarĂaa it and get excited [originally said to excite her, literally "hit" so i put a synonym to fit in more with the tone of the interview, but interpret it the way you like it Xd] If the atmosphere devoid of tension bother me. These are things I have to work on the presentations of Japan. Not only in live concerts, but in my music in general.
M : I was very happy too. My fans in Japan, my European fans, my American fans, my Asian fans ... They really talk about what they feel and say I love you for me, so I thought he would do for my Japanese fans as well. I experience it firsthand.
