"Before the trip, I traveled alone and did shows spontaneous in the corners of the streets"

I

: Congratulations on a successful world tour, Miyavi! On behalf of your fans around the world, musicJAPANplus

would like to say "Welcome home!" Today we will discuss various topics related to your world tour. Please join us for another interview.

there? How you spend your time?

M: Well ... umm ... What were you doing? For the new year, I went to Los Angeles. I also went to San Francisco, Las Vegas, and even San Diego. It was a kind of road trip by myself. I: For yourself?

M: Yes. Hmm ... My drummer was too, but our separate ways. Because I like driving alone. So ... back. I did then ... (laughs) Oh well, touch SUGIZO, and this is how "Hi no Hikari Sae Todokanai Kono Basho was born. Actually I had finished the album last year. So ... What else ...? (Laughs) Oh yeah, I remember. As a kind of secret going to clubs and presented me with my guitar.

I: Was it outside Japan? M: M: No, no ... was in Japan, but so did abroad. For example, in the New Year's Day, I was in Los Angeles and went to Little Tokyo * and made a spontaneous show with a Japanese band ** Minya who had shamisen and taiko *** * ***. I usually go to Venice Beach or Santa Monica to do shows in streetscoincidentally gone to events where members of my team had, and someone borrowed instruments to play (laughs) so that was in February and March.

"Plans for the tour were not completely solid until about a week before it began. (Laughs) "

I: So, during that time you were planning the tour, taking time and so forth?

M: There was no planning.

I: There was no planning? (Laughs) M: None. (Laughs) Q: Do notMLXC M: Yes. Presentation. ... As the mixture between the typical "show style" and our style jam session. In my picture, just wanted the show was very solid and clear. However, as a result, it just caught us. And also there was insufficient time. So I could not play a few songs. Anyway, things just were not very good in the show. Therefore, I had no clear picture of what I really wanted in this world tour.

Q: So after all, when was that you had that spark of ideas for the presentgovernments?

M: ... It was crazy.

Q: How does it compare the fans in Japan?
M: They are of different type, for various reasons.

I: In terms of MC and presentations, you prepare in advance for these enthusiastic fans?
M: Basically there was no plan. But I made my MCs in English and in other places that do not speak English as their native language try to speak with them in their languages. On the day of the show was practicing the language as soon reached the place

I: In total, how many languages were there? who attended our call said "We were walking down the streets of San Francisco after the show ended, and we felt like we were hallucinating in a manner and miyavizada Japanized (laughter) did." If it is, we would like to ask you about this incredible enthusiasm. After successful performances in America, went to South America. Check your blog the day trip there, and I remember a story that was very surprising. After America, wrote very confident "This was not error." As an artist, do you think your ability to connect with your fans and how dand easy. If a band, and is a drummer, bassist, guitarist (s), and a vocalist. Ready. What about hip hop? You DJs, rappers, and dancers. cool, done. That's it. Enough. Like this.

I: Things that are out?

M: In that format, yes. Sales is a great package pequeñoy. I do

includes a tap dancer and a beat boxer. Of course, there are some opinions that say, "Is it necessary?" (Laughs) even think of it as my style of artistic presentation, I find myself wondering about this sometimes, too. And I wonder what people thinkThat will make me calm down, "There was no error in what I have been doing and what I'm trying to do!"

I: So it was like starting from scratch. Playing for listeners who had absolutely no pre conception about your presentations, it was a new kind of challenge for you

M: It was. In addition to the fans who have supported me for years now. I was able to reach them too. So it was a great conflict in me. Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

"I think doubt for fear of failing, it is an offense to my fans."

I: I see. You talked about the distance between you and your fans saying, "We must not create a distance if your connection is not broken, building a sort of strong connection that is broken can be overcome and rebuild together. This is really most important I think. "Those are strong words, what made you think this way? M: Oh, I said something pretty good, huh? (Laughs) As an artist, I'm sometimes at odds with my ego. One of the problems an artista can find the compromise between the demands of the fans, what they want and your own ego. Now there are many artists out there that play do not really want to do but I feel very blessed to be able to do what I do. I have many fans who support me, and I get to do things I want with a total length in the way I want. So I think you should have no fear of losing. I am human so I make many mistakes, but they are insignificant. Si vacilo y freno mis pasiones,

eso sería una ofensa para ellos. So all I want to express and present them all is what comes from me to make a strong bondso that we can overcome anything and not let our relationship will break no matter what happens.
